November  – January, Texas 100. Texas 100 celebrates significant works created by 100 artists from Texas, from fiberglass sculptures to mystical landscape paintings. Texas artists included in the collection are Julian Onderdonk, Carlotta Corpron and Keith Carter, as well as El paso artists Tom Lea, Jose Cisneros and Luis Jimenez. December  – January, Clay and Ash: New Work by Sandria Hu. Clay and Ash showcases a recent series of 18 abstract paintings that reference the landscape in terms of color and process but incorporate remnants of found objects to draw on Hu’s memories of four Senior Fullbright Scholar experiences in Slovakia and Mexico. Hu is an internationally known Texas artist and four-time Senior Fullbright Scholar. Her artistic philosophy, centered on the exchange of ideas through visual communication, offers much potential to bilingual communities.
